Alice Zemánková specialises in public law, mainly on administrative law, tax law, and water management disputes. In administrative law, she is primarily involved in administrative proceedings and administrative judicial proceedings.
In tax law, Alice deals with a wide range of issues, primarily focusing on representation in tax proceedings, which includes, in particular, preparing responses to tax authorities’ requests, defending against unjustified tax assessments, defending against allegations of involvement in VAT fraud and, in connection with this, defending claims for VAT deductions or VAT exemptions.
She has gained experience in Financial Administration where she was drafting decisions and other documents in appellate proceedings, and during her studies she was already involved in the administration and recovery of debts of major banking institutions and corporations in the Czech Republic.
Prior to joining our law firm in 2021, Alice was working in the position of an expert in the direct taxes section of the Appellate Financial Directorate.
