Jakub Vojtěch specialises in general commercial law and mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, and banking and finance.
Jakub focuses on mergers and acquisitions on both the buyer and seller sides. He advises on the sale and purchase of companies owning real properties and other assets in the Czech Republic. Jakub also has extensive experience, particularly in investment and development projects and advising on setting appropriate contractual relationships. He also focuses on regulatory issues and the contractual aspects of the banking and capital markets sectors, in particular in the form of debt financing.
In the areas of his expertise, Jakub has been involved in a number of transactions in recent years and has advised Czech and foreign companies on their strategic investments and various issues related to their business activities in the Czech Republic. In addition, he has a strong academic background, particularly in the areas of Islamic banking, securities and trust funds. Over the past few years, Jakub has published a number of monographs and peer-reviewed articles on these topics.
Prior to joining our law firm in 2019, Jakub gained most of his work experience at the Prague office of a German international law firm. In addition to English, German, Italian and French, he also speaks basic Arabic.
