Jana Šimková specialises in public sector law, real estate and construction law and civil and contract law.
In the public sector she focuses mainly on public procurement law, construction law and administrative procedures relating to the construction of development projects. She advises suppliers mainly in preparing bids, participation in tender procedures and contract negotiations and in objection and review proceedings before the Czech Competition Authority and in administrative justice.
In real estate and construction law she has experience in providing full advice on the construction of office buildings, logistic centres and implementation of various construction projects, including disputes within construction law, and preparation of lease agreements.
She has drafted a number of legal opinions and analyses on civil law matters for important clients from the public and private sector.
Jana joined our law firm in 2012 as a student specialising in public procurement. She has gained experience as a junior associate also in banking, finance, capital markets and banking regulation in the Czech Republic and in the field of real estate law. Since 2018 she has promoted to the position of an associate. She obtained a master’s degree in law at the Charles University in Prague and in 2013 she also studied at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
