Practice Areas

Lívia Djukić specialises in compliance, investigations, whistleblowing, and criminal law.

In the area of compliance, Lívia focuses on the creation and implementation of tailor-made compliance programmes. As part of her practice, she assists clients in conducting compliance audits, subsequent setting up internal processes, preparing related internal documentation, and training management and employees – all this with an emphasis on preventing corporate criminal liability.

As part of investigations, Lívia has been involved in a number of comprehensive internal investigations into suspected property and economic criminal activities in corporations and the public sector. She provides support to clients in gathering relevant information and evidence, analysing and legally assessing the facts found, as well as taking further action both within the organisation and vis-a-vis third parties.

Lívia also assists clients with the implementation and management of the ethical hotline, setting up internal processes, preparing related documentation, and training responsible persons and employees. She also acts as a competent person, reviewing reports received for clients and, after the investigation, providing legal support to clients on further steps to be taken.

In the area of criminal law, Lívia has extensive experience in defending members of statutory bodies and corporations in criminal proceedings, as well as in representing injured individuals and legal entities.

Prior to joining our law firm in 2022, she worked in major Czech law firms and in a law firm belonging to a Big Four consultancy firm.
