Lucia Gáťová specialises in employment law and immigration law, particularly the employment of foreign nationals in Slovakia.
In employment law, she advises clients on day-to-day matters arising from an employer-employee relationship. This involves preparation of employment law documentation, employers’ internal regulations, conducting employment law due diligence, including legal advice on temporary assignment of workers, and the operation of trade unions at employers.
In immigration law, Lucia addresses comprehensive procedures for obtaining temporary residence permits or other authorisations to reside in Slovakia, particularly for employees and members of the statutory bodies of Slovak branches of multinational companies. She further deals with cross-border posting of workers and other issues related to the entry and residence of foreign nationals in Slovakia.
Prior to joining our law firm, Lucia worked in both a Slovak and an international law firm in Bratislava, handling commercial and employment law matters. She completed her legal trainee practice and bar exams in Prague.
