Michal specialises primarily in technology, intellectual property, media, telecommunications, film, and e‑commerce law.
In the area of technology law he focuses on providing comprehensive advice related to information technology, artificial intelligence, digital services, and software systems including video games. He also attends to transactions related to acquisitions or sale of technology assets, and setting up internal structures and buyer-supplier relations in the IT sector.
Michal also practices copyright and media law, with a special focus on liability for digital content. He also has ample experience in the field of film law and telecommunications, regularly advising film studios, broadcasters, distributors, and operators.
Before joining Havel & Partners in 2019, Michal worked in renowned Czech law firms where he focused mainly on corporate law, M&A, telecommunications, data protection, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and administrative proceedings.
