Natalija Traurigová specialises in mergers and acquisitions, legal audits and due diligence investigations, corporate law, real estate law, energy and transportation law. She also coordinates the firm’s Russian advisory group.

Natalija has been involved in a number of M&A transactions on both the sell and buy sides, in particular in the sectors of energy, transportation, construction and heavy industry, and also in private equity transactions. She further focuses on structuring joint ventures and legal assistance in setting up the related contractual relationships.

Apart from providing legal services to Czech- and English-speaking clients, Natalija as a Russian native speaker is co-responsible for the coordination of our law firm’s Russian advisory group, providing comprehensive legal services to Russian-speaking clients and also to Czech clients entering or already doing business in the markets in Russian-speaking countries, including strategic investments, formation and management of joint ventures, delivery of industrial facilities, performance of contracts and dispute resolution in these countries. She also deals with matters arising from international sanctions imposed in relation to Russia.

Before joining our law firm, Natalija worked for seven years at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and subsequently at its successor Czech law firm. While there, she focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, energy law and international transportation and forwarding law. In her previous practice, she also dealt with project financing, for instance in connection with a pilot B.O.T. motorway construction project in the Czech Republic and a large-capacity paper mill construction project concurrently designed in the Czech Republic and Germany.
