Tereza Hrabáková specialises in intellectual property law, in particular trademarks, industrial designs, utility models, patents, and unfair competition.
In the area of intellectual property she mainly focuses on advising clients on the choice of trademark strategies and extensions of trademark registrations, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. She represents clients in administrative proceedings concerning trademarks, industrial designs, utility models and patents before the Czech Industrial Property Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She also represents clients in courts of law, enforcing their industrial property rights (trademarks and patents).
In the area of unfair competition Tereza focuses on the complex issues of unfair competition practices and the ensuing lawsuits. Prior to joining our law firm, she had worked for 17 years with a patent law firm specialising in intellectual property law, and two years at the Czech Industrial Property Office.
The prestigious international magazine Managing Intellectual Property has for several years ranked Tereza Hrabáková as an IP STAR in the Czech Republic. At the same time, she has been ranked in another international ranking, the World Trademark Review, for several years and in 2023 she was included among the Top 100 Women in Czech Legal Business.
