Tomáš Novák focuses on the public sector, especially public procurement and concessions, administrative law, and contract law.
In relation to the public sector he primarily specialises in the law of public procurement and concessions, with a focus on public procurement in the transport sector. He also advises clients in administrative proceedings before the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition and in proceedings before administrative courts.
Before joining our law firm in 2022, Tomáš worked at the Office for the Protection of Competition where he was mainly responsible for drafting administrative decisions in appellate proceedings, and later he worked as an in-house lawyer at a major sectoral contracting authority where he was instrumental in the preparation of numerous projects relating in particular to the development of transport infrastructure, implementation of ICT contracts, and deliveries of specialised technology.
