Veronika Bočanová specialises in family law.
In family law, Veronika primarily advises on the regulation of relations with minor children, such as setting the conditions for child custody, contact with children and alimony issues. She focuses on the legal aspects of marriage, including its dissolution, matrimonial property law, parental responsibility issues and the civil procedural issues of family law, in particular resolving disputed situations in connection with the breakdown of relationships.
In employment law, Veronika has many years of experience in preparing employment documentation and setting the content of employment relations from the perspective of both the employer and the employee. She has dealt with a wide range of employment law issues such as individual employment relationships (creation, changes, and termination of employment relationships, rights and obligations of the parties to the employment relationship, working hours, disciplinary proceedings, etc.) and representation of employers and employees in court and administrative proceedings having employment law aspects. Veronika has experience in dealing with issues such as the concurrent performance of functions, occupational accidents and diseases, various remuneration issues, and, for example, setting up the conditions for working from home office.
Prior to joining our law firm, Veronika worked in two Czech law firms over the course of twenty years, where, in addition to her main specialisation, she also focused on school law, administrative law in the environmental field (waste management), and civil procedural law in resolving complex litigation matters at all stages of court proceedings in various areas of business activities.
