Vladimir Ivanov specialises in M&A, corporate law, commercial law, real estate projects and comprehensive legal services for private clients.

In M&A he focuses on advice relating to sale and purchase of companies, formation of joint ventures and restructuring. Over the last four years he has been involved in a number of major M&A transactions and restructuring projects implemented in the Czech Republic, acting for both sellers and buyers. Vladimir primarily participates in construction, IT, e-commerce, machine-building, processing industry, transport and private equity projects.

Since he joined our law firm he has been a member of the Russian desk which provides full legal services to Czech and international firms operating in Russian-speaking countries and to clients from these countries based in the Czech Republic.

Before he joined our law firm in January 2014 he worked at a leading Czech law firm specialising in banking and finance, M&A and provided comprehensive legal services to Russian-speaking clients. In 2014 he also acted as a chief compliance officer of a major securities trader. In the period between 2012 and 2015 he acted as a consultant for a number of Czech MPs of the European Parliament focusing on issues of industry and the energy sector and relationships with Russian-speaking countries.
